■原位利用月球资源可以有效降低月球基地建设成本以及基地对地球资源的依赖性。月球表面含有大量的月壤材料,利用月壤制备纤维并开发相应的纤维增强复合材料体系,为建造月球基地提供了一种新的材料解决方案。本文总结了多个研究团队在月壤纤维领域的研究进展,探讨了采用月壤并结合熔体牵引成纤技术来制备月壤纤维的可行性,可实现对水泥/月壤基体的有效增强等,从而为月球基地中宇航员的生命和生存保障等提供结构和功能材料。

■ Separation process by using Amine-mesh as a media, where water was dyed with methyl blue and heptane was colored by oil red. The prepared metal meshes showed excellent hydrophobicity and could be used to separate a series of oil–water mixtures.

■ PEI-modified glass fiber (GF) was fabricated using a facile and effective surface modification strategy. The obtained membranes presented superamphiphilicity in air, underwater superoleophobicity, and positive surface charges in water. The separation efficiency was only 31.8% for the emulsion stabilized by a cationic surfactant and raised to over 94.7% for the emulsion stabilized by anionic, nonionic, and zwitterionic surfactants.

■ An efficient and facile method to achieve the high mass loading of zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) on the surface of basalt fiber was. The developed material was used as an efficient adsorbent for pollutant molecules such as iodine and CO2. The mechanism of iodine adsorption was further explored in kinetics and thermodynamics aspects.
5. Ma Q, Xing D, Hao B, Ma PC*. Interfacial engineering strategy to improve the piezoresistive performance of polymer nanocomposites via chemical bonding of carbon nanotubes on graphene. Composites Part A: Applied Science and Manufacturing, 2023, 174, 107730.
■ Nanocomposites composed of carbon nanotubes (CNTs)/graphene hybrid aerogel as conductive network and interpenetrated polydimethylsiloxane as matrix were reported. The developed nanocomposites showed high sensitivity and outstanding linear dependence on the applied stress to the material.

■ A novel numerical method was proposed to predict and optimize the fibrous-filtration progress by employing the computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulation coupled with the response surface methodology (RSM). This combined methodology of CFD simulation with RSM optimization paved a new path for the high-efficient screening of the filter design and optimization.
7. Aireken A, Yasin A*, Hao B, Ma PC*. Preparation of strong adhesive waterborne coating on polyester fabric based on cation-π interaction and its application in oil/water separation. Progress in Organic Coatings, 2023, 183, 10776.
■ A strong adhesive waterborne polyurethane (PU) coating on PET fabric for oil/water separation was successfully designed. The effect of hydrophilic group on the property of PU dispersion as well as the interaction of optimized PU dispersion with single PET fiber were studied. The modified fabric exhibited remarkable durability and excellent ability for oil/water separation.

A novel pico-hydro power (PHP)-microbial electrolysis cell (MEC) coupled system for sustainable hydrogen production during palm oil mill effluent (POME) wastewater treatment. ■ A novel integration of a pico-hydro-power generator (PHP) with single-chambered MECs exceptionally was performed and consequently its performance was improved. The overall H2 recovery, COD removal rate and energy efficiency were determined and the results showed a stable and economically energy-producing PHP-MEC system that has great potential to treat wastewater sustainably.

■ Conductive basalt fibers (BFs) were developed by dip-coating with functional sizing consisting of epoxy emulsion and carbon nanotubes (CNT)/reduced graphene oxide (RGO). The effect of coating on tensile strength was investigated. The results verified the novel concept for the construction of fiber-based thermoelectric generator with high performance.

■ A novel edge insulated electrode material was used to optimize oil removal efficiency and energy consumption in electrocoagulation process (EC). The COMSOL theoretical calculation was used to investigate the mechanism of enhancement in oil-water separation performance.
11. Liang CG, Guo ZS, Yue X, Li H*, Ma PC*. Microwave-assisted breakage of basalt: A viewpoint on analyzing the thermal and mechanical behavior of rock. Energy, 2023, 273, 127225.
■ A fully coupled electromagnetic-thermal-mechanical model was developed to study the fracture behavior of basalt rock under microwave heating. Numerical calculation was perfumed and compared to the microwave heating experiment.

■ The cotton stalk-derived biochar-based Fe SACs (Fe SACs-BC) with an asymmetric Fe-N3O-C configuration were prepared, and its PMS activation and Acid Orange 7 (AO7) degradation mechanisms were displayed.
