Introduction
“International Symposium on the Chemistry of Natural Compounds”, serving as a platform for the exchange of the latest advances in natural products research, is a regular (biennial) professional symposium for researchers globally engaged in chemistry of natural compounds. “The XIII International Symposium on Chemistry of Natural Compounds” is going to held in October 2019 in Shanghai, China. Experts from various countries and regions including Uzbekistan, Turkey, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, the United States, Canada, Australia, France, Hong Kong and Macao, China have been invited to participate in this symposium. With the aim to strengthen the cooperation between China and countries involved in “The Belt and Road”, it will play a positive role in further promoting resource sharing, complementarity, mutual benefits and common development, as well as in promoting the modernization of medicinal plant resources in China and even in Central Asia.
